AMG GT R PREPARED BY G-POWER REACHES UP TO 800hp
Talking about G-Power, in most cases it's about a German premium sports car whose power has been increased. The Germans became specialists in this type of transformation with sedans, but they had not yet put their hands on the most sporting Mercedes-AMG GT of all.
Thus, with their usual solutions they took the V8 4.0 biturbo engine of the Mercedes-AMG GT R, and raised the original power of 585 hp and the 700 Nm of torque, to a maximum of 800 hp and 850 Nm. of Performance Software V4 and some modifications in mechanics, such as the installation of a competition fuel pump, light forged pistons with reduced compression, new turbos with larger turbines, intake systems with sports air filter, among other novelties. All this with a corresponding reinforcement of the dual-clutch seven-speed transmission to withstand the increase of cavalry.

We spoke before in a maximum of 800 hp because as usual are offered different levels of power so that the customer chooses what suits him.
Performance Software V3 with the same mechanical modifications results in 750 hp and 800 Nm of torque, while the V2 lowers at 690 and 770 Nm accompanied by an optimized flow admission system. For those who do not want a significant increase the Performance Software V1 offers more than enough 650 hp and 750 Nm.In either case the Mercedes-AMG GT R can equip a new set of Hurricane RR forged aluminum wheels with Michelin tires in the measures of 275/30 ZR20 on the front and 305/25 ZR21 on the rear. It also has a new exhaust system with three outs with a stronger sound and small stickers of G-Power on the side of the body and the hood.
