MERCEDES-BENZ

Shanghai is the largest city in the People's Republic of China, with 24 million inhabitants in the urban area, about ¼ of the Portuguese population. The city organized the largest Chinese car show and, to the astonishment of the visitors, displayed several inexpensive (and perfect) copies. Even by brands that belong to the State and have commercial and industrial agreements with the brands they copy.
The Chinese give systematic proof that intellectual property is "something that does not assist them," which allows them to copy everything they think is good and well done. And then, when complaints arise, they use their judicial and political systems (at least biased) to limit the ambitions of the complainants' claims. Even if they are manufacturers of whom the communist country has attracted large investments with promises of great openness.
It turns out that the BJ80 is a copy of the Mercedes G Class, Mercedes being one of the brands with which BAIC has an association for the Chinese territory. The grid is slightly distinct - only slightly - but everything else, especially in the better-equipped versions, is a blatant copy.
