DAIMLER GROUP

Dieter Zetsche says goodbye to Mercedes

Eternal rivals, Mercedes and BMW never missed an opportunity to exchange pennants. This is not going to be the case, but the truth is that it's worth seeing the video that BMW's designers designed to mark Dieter Zetsche's departure from the Daimler Group leadership and, as a table, Mercedes controls.
Zetsche, 66, joined the executive board in 1998 and took the helm of Mercedes in 2006, and was honored to value the Stuttgart brand in the premium segment, precisely the one where compatriot BMW closes ranks.
However, at the time of farewell - it will be another "even now", because in 2021 Zetsche will assume the position of chairman of the board of directors of Daimler -, the rivalries have been forgotten. At least, so we are led to believe, in a film that emotionally simulates the last day of work of the head of Mercedes.

The actor who embodies the character of the executive does not lack even the famous mustache of Zetsche, nor the Class S that leaves him at home, ready to enjoy the reform. But when Zetsche is "finally free" to do what he wants, what happens? In order not to ruin the surprise, it is best to watch the video.
