BENTLEY
CONTINENTAL GT BAVARIA EDITION
Recently presented, the new generation of the Bentley Continental GT Convertible already has a special edition, although in this case it is a very particular one-off, the new Bentley Continental GT Convertible Bavaria Edition, which pays homage to the German region where the headquarters of the BMW Group, the current owner of Rolls-Royce, rival brand and former sister of Bentley.
The imagination of the designers on some occasions seems to have no limit, as is the case of the craftsmen and experts of the Mulliner division of Bentley, in charge of the customization tasks and special requests of the British line. The latest creation that came out of Mulliner's workshops is precisely one of the latest innovations of the company, the new Bentley Continental GT Convertible, the open-top version of the Continental line. This model was introduced last November and already has a new special edition, but in this case the production is limited to a single, so we speak in fact of a one-off.
The new Bentley Continental GT Convertible Bavaria Edition has a chromatic configuration and a series of elements allusive to the flag of that region, a kind of plaid mosaic, but with diamonds instead of squares and blue in color of black. These shapes can be seen both in some emblems that appear in certain points of the vehicle - in the exterior and in the interior - as in the own color combination chosen.
The body is white Glacier White and the canvas hood is Imperial Blue blue, the colors of the Bavarian flag, while the interior has a more attractive configuration with the dark blue leather coverings with contrast stitching and the Bavarian flag in the head rests, besides the different inserts of the panel in smooth aluminum, instead of the usual pieces of wood. The reason for this decoration is very simple, since the vehicle was ordered precisely by the Bentley dealer in Munich, the capital of the Bavarian region. At the mechanical and chassis level there is nothing new about the standard Bentley Continental configuration, so your supercharged 12-cylinder engine delivers 635 hp and 900 Nm of maximum torque.
