FÓRMULA-1
The low competitiveness of Ferrari
At the Australian GP race earlier this month, what caught the eye was not just the startling victory of Valteri Bottas. What really caught the attention of the world's sporting world was the decision of the Ferrari team management - a decision that favored Sebastian Vettel who was coming at a slower pace in the race and just behind him came his teammate at a more aggressive pace and was approaching of the German pilot to probably surpass it ... but at that moment the direction of team got in touch with the monegasque pilot in real time so that this slowed his pace to stay away from Vettel.
This attitude is curious because it smears the level of competitiveness of the category, this could even be punishable by the FIA that curiously allows this unsportsmanlike practice to continue to thrive today.
Who does not remember that other embarrassment involving Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher, when they were both from the Ferrari - at the time Rubinho was coming at a faster pace and in front of Schumacher, but the Brazilian driver was forced by the direction of the Ferrari team to take his foot off the accelerator then the German rider passes him. To this day that amazing attitude is remembered today.
The ideal even is that the race inside the track is totally clean regardless of the privileged situation of the number 1 driver or the position of the team in the championship ... but unfortunately happened again, and again in Ferrari.
