Looking for recovery after the disaster that was the 2018 season, Williams presented on Monday (11) the painting that will compete in 2019. The presentation at the team's factory in the English city of Grove, was only the color structure and painting, but also the new master-sponsor: ROKiT, the Chinese smartphone factory. The new FW42 will appear complete only at the beginning of the preseason.
The new painting was a big question at Williams, as the previous color scheme was linked to the master-partnership with Martini, which ended in late 2018. Now, with new partners, it has a fairly repaginated look: a white background with gradient in baby blue tone.
"We spent a lot of time [thinking] on this painting. It was all done inside our house, we have a great creative team," said Deputy Chief Claire Williams. "I wanted a painting that told the story of where Williams is and the future we believe we have," he said.
"Williams' traditional colors are navy blue and white, but I wanted to get away from it. I wanted to show the world that we are a revitalized and revitalized brand," he said. G. P.
