FÓRMULA-1

Tests: Mercedes and Red Bull well released

Mercedes followed the same method it has used since 2014. The first few days were marked by the many laps the W10 gave, which a few years ago was a source of surprise and admiration, but this year was just something normal, looking at the reliability of all driving units.
The Silver Arrows kept their philosophy in the car, unlike the vast majority, who opted for the Ferrari path. It would be risky to change your mind now, and Mercedes has chosen to continue the evolution of both the chassis and the engine, although it is practically new. Just on the fourth day of testing the team decided to show a little more of the speed of their car, leaving aside the harder rubbers and stints with a lot of fuel. Lewis Hamilton still made it to the top of the timesheets but it was only a short time. Bottas has always been a little below Hamilton's pace, which at this stage is not relevant and it was also him who admitted more clearly that the car still needs some work to get where the team intends.
