The five worst, by Jeremy Clarkson
Jeremy Clarkson enjoys a popularity that is mainly due to the media exposure he was first conquering with Top Gear and now with The Grand Tour - two television programs with a format more entertainment than information, which are still in common that the same trio of protagonists (Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond) have moved from the BBC to Amazon Prime. But if the television allows us to see a Clarkson with a peculiar sense of humor, to the mixture with some dose of malice and an evident fall for crazy, also in the writing the British journalist stays true to itself.
In the column that he signs in the Sunday Times, Clarkson sometimes exudes corrosive criticism, sometimes weaves praises with the same commitment. The words end up being summarized graphically through a star assignment scheme (up to 5), and it was on the basis of this assessment that the publication revealed the five best and worst cars of the year, passed through the hands of Clarkson 28 cars - the number relates, of course, only to the models rehearsed for the newspaper. Of these, five impressed him with the positive and others so made him so aggrieved that Clarkson spared the stars. Although, contrary to what happened in 2017, in this last election there was no model to be run with zero stars.
No surprises, among the best there are no electrics - Clarkson has an assumed aversion for this type of proposals - and they are all very powerful cars and ... not very accessible. Curiously, most of the worst (in his opinion) even corresponds to cheap models.118, according to the British.

1st -Lamborghini Hurricane Performante. The ability to roar and purr at the same time, led the Italian supercar to be crowned the king of 2018
2nd -Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Clarkson was never a fan of the Porsche and much less of the 911, but surrendered to the "brilliance" of the GT2
3rd -Alpina B5. "The best Series 5" that Clarkson has ever conducted was prepared by AlpinaRS
4th -Aston Martin Vantage. Unconditional Fan of the Vantage, this time the journalist surprised by not having given the maximum score
5th -Bentley Continental GT. He passed from despised, for being "the car of the soccer players", to one of the favorites of English
