BMW wants to follow the same path as Tesla

Manfred Schoch(In the photo above), the man who controls the BMW Group's production system, in an interview with Manager Magazin - a monthly German publication specializing in business and finance - confessed his respect for Tesla.
Schoch said that mastering and controlling battery production, as Tesla has done in the past, in collaboration with Panasonic (which the Volkswagen Group has also recently joined) is key to success with EV future. The BMW executive even went so far as to applaud Elon Musk's decision to focus on battery production through Gigafactory along with a technology partner.
