DUCATI

Retro evolution of the new model
It seems that the new Scrambler announced by the Ducati is not, for now, an 1100cc with greater off-road ability to face the announced Triumph Scrambler 1200.The new Scrambler announced within the concept "Joyvolution" is after all a new 800 whose cosmetic work intends to satisfy the brand's fans who want a more revivalist model and more inside a vintage aesthetic.

With this aim in mind the new Scrambler 800 now has a larger fuel tank, the seat is also lower profile and the front headlamp mounts a chrome rim, well in the style of the 70s. Also the engine now has finish in black with fins machined to simulate the air-cooled engines, the exhaust also has a different protection, and a series of other components like levers, gearshift and brake pedals and wheels, The headlight emits yellow light, a curious detail, the blinkers are LED technology. The dashboard has a new design and includes a gearbox, fuel level switch and Ducati Multimedia System with the option of connecting via Bluetooth. They complement the most retro look that the 2019 model has been looking for.

However and despite the more retro look of the new Scrambler 800 of 2019 at electronic level there was also an evolution being that now includes ABS in curve, the Bosch 9.1 MP System, although it does not yet include traction control. Also at the level of the suspensions the ducati worked to give the new Scrambler of greater comfort and the clutch is now hydraulic.

The new Ducati Scrambler model and the upgrades now performed were only branded with the "Icon" base model in yellow and tangerine colors. There is no confirmation of a possible evolution of the remaining models or possibly of a new version 1100cc with greater aptitude for the all-terrain.
