A NEW CROSSOVER PROPOSAL
Crossovers are preferred by the public in most major markets worldwide and this SUV fever extends to all segments, although it has been the B-SUVs that in recent months have monopolized most launches, since it is one of the most customers.Geely knows this, then released the first images of a new proposal that prepared for the B segment, a crossover that was named SX11, which uses the new BMA modular architecture of the Chinese brand. It is a 4.33-meter-long crossover, which thanks to its 2.70-meter wheelbase promises a spacious interior, especially in the rear seats, plus a generous trunk.

Under the hood the new Geely SX11 hides a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, a three-cylinder direct fuel injection block that was developed in conjunction with Volvo, which reaches 160 hp and a maximum torque of 255 Nm. The powerplant is coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch, a mechanical configuration that allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds.

The most relevant equipment will include ABS brakes with EBD, traction and stability controls, six airbags, automatic climate control, infotainment system with touch screen, integrated navigation, visibility package, configurable digital instrumentation, keyless access, pushbutton, thermal mirrors , heated seats, alloy wheels, foglamps, etc.

Its launch is scheduled for before the end of this year, initially in China, but it is a model with international aspirations, which will reach several markets in 2019. Later there will be other mechanical options, and is even foreseen the arrival of a hybrid version, although for the time being the manufacturer has not provided precise details.
