NEW CROSSOVER OF THE BRAND ANTICIPATED BY AN OFFICIAL SKETCH
The presentation of the smallest crossover ever made by Volkswagen is ever closer. Named T-Cross, the serial production model will make its debut in October and by then the German brand will gradually and gradually reveal information and images of the model. The sketch of the rear of the vehicle and a video make it possible to know the German brother of SEAT Arona a little better. The T-Cross will be based on the MQB A0 platform, the same as the SEAT Arona. It will be 4.107 mm long and will be positioned below the T-Roc. Despite the reduced dimensions, Volkswagen promises that the interior will be "surprisingly spacious" and that rear occupants will benefit from additional legroom thanks to a sliding seat that can also be moved to increase the carrying capacity of the trunk . According to the manufacturer Wolfsburg, T-Cross will be one of the safest crossovers in its segment and will be equipped with the latest driving assistance technology, such as Front Assist and Lane Assist.Volkswagen did not disclose any information about the T-Cross cabin, but is expected to be largely the same as the Polo. The engine line, as well as the passenger compartment, will also be based on the Polo and should include two TSI 1.0 and 1.5 liter blocks and a 1.6 liter TDI block. For the time being it is not yet known whether a full-traction option will be available. In terms of design, the front will follow the line displayed by Arteon, and more recently by the new Touareg, characterized by a wide grille that integrates the headlights. The rear part will be marked by a horizontal light bar that joins the two lanterns.
