GRANTA RECEIVES UPDATE
With seven years on the market, Lada Granta is one of AvtoVAZ's most veteran models, of course without regard to the Russian icon Niva. However, this compact sedan still manages to stay on top of customer preferences, since it is one of the most affordable models on the market. In any case, the Russian manufacturer introduced some updates in order to improve its appeal.

This Lada Granta midlife upgrade introduces important aesthetic changes to the compact, which receives exterior modifications inspired by the Lada Vesta, the most modern model of the Russian brand. The Granta adopts the front that the manufacturer calls 'X-face', with a style that resembles a letter X.Thus, AvtoVAZ can modernize its aesthetics, adding major modifications in the front, which opens a new grille, new headlights, new bumper and a renovated hood.

In addition, it received new side frames, now in the same body color, new exterior shades and new format alloy wheels. At the rear, it opens a newly designed boot lid that now incorporates the license plate, as well as a completely redesigned bumper. For the time being the manufacturer did not disclose the data regarding its equipment, although the press release notes that the interior has received minor changes to keep it more current, with the introduction of new materials that have managed to improve the quality perceived.

In mechanical terms, the engine supply will retain a similar proposal to the model that can still be found in dealers, which revolves around a 1.6-liter petrol engine that can be coupled to a five-speed manual transmission or a robotised five relationships. His presentation is scheduled for the Moscow Salon, which will be celebrated at the end of August.
