HONDA

MOWER V2 MUST REACH 240 KM/H
The Honda Mean Mower V2 is the evolution of an idea engineered by the Japanese brand already long ago: to manufacture the world's fastest lawn mower. The task, relatively simple since it was not about very fast vehicles, resulted in the V1 reaching 187.6 km / h, a speed that became low when they snatched the record later. Now is the time to reclaim the throne. And it can not be said that the model is not prepared for this, is that both Honda and Team Dynamics, the team with which the brand competes in the BTCC, did a good job.

The first thing they did was choose the model to give the basis to the project: a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP.From there, they used practically all the useful elements. Its engine is 190 hp and 116 Nm of maximum torque, the LCD screen of the instrument cluster, the ECU and the clutch system. To this they added a programmable six-speed carbon-fiber transmission behind the Sparco steering wheel. In addition, the cooling system was printed in 3D, the Goldspeed ATV wheels are fitted with slick tires and the brake system combines vented discs with four-piston calipers in the front and six in the rear. With all this, the Honda Mean Mower V2 should be capable of achieving its goal, reaching 240 km / h, which means to overcome at a speed of more than 50 km / h the speed achieved by its predecessor.
