BMW X4 2019 APPEARS WITHOUT CAMOUFLAGE

The X4's most sporty, high-performance version was leaked without camouflage thanks to a photograph taken at the brand's own factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The new BMW X4 M shows in this image only its rear, which along with its front is where will be found the specific aesthetic elements most characteristic of this version.Like the prototypes of development seen in recent months, this new X4 M features a more muscular bumper, with marked folds over the lanterns and four exhaust signs, BMW Motorsport versions identity signs.According to the image, the only one obtained by the Mexicans of the Autocosm of this unit without camouflage, the taillights appear to be darker than in the regular versions of the BMW X4, in addition to having a small fixed spoiler on the trunk lid.For now and as is usual in these cases, the German brand did not want to reveal any details about this new sports version.

Similarly, BMW has not revealed when it plans to officially present this version, but it seems that it will be at the beginning of next year, since the new X4 M40i, for now the highest in the line, already has prices in all markets.In mechanical terms it is expected to use the same 3.0-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo engine that can be found in the current M3 and M4, in addition to the already mentioned X4 M40i, but the new M version will count on a considerable increase of power in relation to the latter, between 450 and 460 hp, compared to the 353 hp of the M40i.



The X4 M will feature an eight-speed automatic transmission and M xDrive total drive system.The production of this version will begin next April of 2019 at the plant in Spartanburg, so its presentation may be earlier that year, and the 2019 Geneva Motor Show will be a good alternative for its presentation.
