SUZUKI

KATANA - TO CUT THE WIND

After a "sabbatical" year in terms of new model introductions, Suzuki will certainly be eager to regain lost ground and come up with something new to put the brand back into the "mouths of the world".We want and desire certainly a new Katana, with current technology, since the design of its lines is timeless and fits perfectly into the neo-classical revivalist trend that we see to be embraced by the market and by most of the leading brands.

The Suzuki GSX-700 T has since officially been presented to the dealers of the brand and that its definitive appearance to the general public will take place in the Hall of Milan next November.

It is not certain that the model will regain the "Katana" brand, although its lines recall the mythical and revolutionary model of the early eighties.Over the last three years there has been much speculation around this project and it has always been thought that it would bring associated Turbo technology. The recent patents made by Suzuki, both around technology and the brands and denominations, made you think. However it seems to be definitely removed the hypothesis of the Turbo version and that the option for the version on fed will be that which will integrate the production model of the prototype 700T.

News that runs about the possible launch of a new model of the Suzuki Katana, which about 4 years ago was known as "Recursion", then a prototype with turbocharged 2-cylinder engine powered by 500cc seems to have evolved into a new concept, this time not turbo but over powered with 700cc and giving the name of GSX-700T, a model that will charge a power similar to that of the one-liter motorcycles, that is, close to 150CV, seem to have a foundation.
