X80, THE LIFAN PREMIUM SUV
The new Lifan Premium SUV, the X80, is already a global vehicle of the Chinese brand. Presented to the public for the first time at the São Paulo Show in November 2016, the X80 received special attention from Chinese and Brazilian engineers to offer a truly premium experience to discerning consumers.Its launch marks a new moment for Lifan, which has been present in the Brazilian market since 2013 and after this short experience seeks to fix the brand as a real option for Brazilian consumers, not only for the X80's own characteristics, a large SUV with seven seats that position with the best competitors in the category, but also by raising the quality level of the brand's dealer network, which was prepared to serve this 'Premium' customer.

The Lifan X80 is unveiled in Brazil in a single-VIP version - equipped with 2.0 turbo engine, six-speed automatic transmission and an extensive list of safety, comfort and convenience items only found in quality and top-level vehicles. "We have tried to put in the X80 what our research has shown to be important to consumers of this class of vehicle, but without exaggeration, in order to establish a level of adequate cost to a wider range of potential customers," said Johnny Fang, president of Lifan in Brazil .

Lifan understands that not only the vehicle has to be Premium, but the entire experience of the consumer with the car, from the time of first contact prior to the purchase decision, to the return to the dealer for vehicle reviews. "This segment brings small differences between the two models and the attention and attention given to every detail can make a difference in the choice," emphasizes Fang, making it clear that the company is betting on the success of this brand new SUV.

Elegant and imposing design
The X80's design seeks to show sobriety and sophistication in every respect. Starting from the front of the vehicle, where the grid with chrome horizontal bars with the brand name applied, the DRL (Daytime Running Light) inline optics kit and fog lights built into the bumper imposes its identity: It is a large SUV.The high-waisted line, black-silver 19-inch diamond wheels and the frame that comes with all bottom line and SUV bumpers, accentuate your oversized size. At the rear the boot lid dominates the scene along with the surrounding lanterns. The shock absorber with the fog lights and the two exhaust outlets add a sporty feel to the X80. The embossing on the back is embossed with the brand name and model: LIFAN X80 2.0 Turbo.The elongated silhouette of the two volumes - engine and passenger cabin - and high ground, give amplitude to the vehicle and also project an image of harmony and balance, with straight lines and slightly rounded corners. The large glazed area seems to form a single piece and its shape helps to smooth the vehicle's lines without losing its elegance and sobriety.



2.0 turbo engine: strength and economy in the right measure
In pursuit of the balance between performance and energy efficiency, Lifan equipped the new X80 SUV with a 2.0 liter cubic capacity (1,984cc), four-cylinder in-line, DOHC (double valve control on the head), 16V, Dual VVT , turbocharged, intercooler, direct injection and gasoline driven. This engine generates 184 hp of maximum power at 5,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque between 1,600 and 3,600 rpm, enough force to easily and economically push your 1,885 kg (in running order).

The DSI 6AT six-speed automatic transmission, which can also be used in the manual mode, allows the gear shifts to be made on the lever or activated in the Sport mode by means of a button on the center console. that the gear shifts in the automatic mode happen at higher speeds, adding sportiness in driving the Lifan X80.

Another highlight of this mechanical set is the electronic throttle (throttle-by-wire), which allows smoother acceleration and reduces shifting in gears, saving fuel and reducing pollutant emissions. The integration of this motor-transmission assembly has precise operation and the changes of gears in normal use are imperceptible, with the response of the motor always progressive and linear, offering a comfortable experience and with great pleasure of driving.
