NEW COMMERCIAL VERSION OF THE FRENCH MODEL
So far only the passenger version of the new Citroën Berlingo is available, but now the French brand has just presented the commercial version of this model that will start production at the Spanish factory in Vigo, so that the first deliveries begin later this year after presentation at the Salon de Paris 2018.It is a completely new model that shares nothing with its predecessor thanks to the modular platform EMP2, so it has the same characteristics of compact models and upper segments of Citroën, Peugeot and DS, but with obvious technical differences. Aesthetically it shares the front identity with the Jumpy differentiating itself from the version of passengers, while in the rear it maintains the characteristic style of the Berlingo with its vertical optical groups.
The side is offered fully paneled and with one or two sliding doors to facilitate loading in narrow spaces. At the rear the doors are of conventional opening at an angle of up to 180 ° and asymmetrically 40/60. A roof hatch version is also available for very tall objects, a solution that will not be possible with two sliding side doors and XL size.
The new Berlingo Van will be offered with two body lengths - as in the table below - with the same options for cabin configuration, debuting the concept of 'Extended Cab' with the front passenger seat for three passengers and with an expanded instrument panel. This new cabin concept is configurable and features a side seat that can be lowered to increase the loading length. On the other hand, it also offers the 'Silhouette' version that adds a rear bench seat, increasing the transport for up to five passengers and without reducing the load space of the XL version. Below the table with the measurements of Berlingo:

The new Citroën Berlingo Van has an overload indicator, an unprecedented tool in the commercial segment and category, which warns the driver when the maximum authorized weight limit is exceeded, and is even able to detect if the weight of the load is approaching of the allowed, a function that is activated automatically when starting the engine or stopped by the push of a button, which increases the safety on board.
The possibilities offered by the new light commercial of Citroën increase with the versions 'Worker' and 'Driver'.
