TESLA MODEL S: THE DESIGN OF NIELS VAN ROIJ DESIGN

London-based studio Niels van Roij Design designed a shooting brake version of the Tesla Model S. The model was commissioned by the Dutch collector Floris Raadt and RemetzCar, a company specialized in modifying bodies, developed the design project.



In the case of the exterior, the alterations mainly focus on the rear, which exhibits a prolonged ceiling of inclined lines, which gives a characteristic look of the vans and a trunk of greater capacity. Chromed elements have been added to the sides of the back, to the frames of the glasses and to the contour of the upper panoramic glass.
The interior has also undergone modifications, arising with seats covered in beige leather, contrasting green details and new emblems that highlight the model's exclusivity.The electric propulsion system is the same as the Tesla series production."The transformation fuses naturally with the Model S base, but it does reflect its unique exclusivity through the design and materials used," said van Roij.The Tesla Model S Shooting Brake is a unique, custom-made and tailor-made model for a private customer, yet RemetzCar will produce 19 additional units.
