JIMNY 2019 TO BE REVEALED IN SEPTEMBER

The production of the current Suzuki Jimny has now ended. The commercial life of the third generation has come to an end and the brand begins preparations for the presentation of the new model that will debut very soon. Although the information at first pointed to a possible presentation at the end of the year, the fact that Suzuki had stopped manufacturing Jimny advanced the plans.The new generation of the Suzuki Jimny will be presented globally in September. Taking into account that there will be no world-class saloon this month, Suzuki will be expected to choose to host a private event where the new Jimny gets all the attention. This is a formula that is being increasingly adopted by manufacturers to avoid that other brands draw attention to them. Shortly after its presentation to the press of the world will be celebrated the presentation in the different markets.The Suzuki Jimny 2019 will be based on a ladder platform and will feature a ALLGRIP PRO all-wheel drive system, a transfer case and a more advanced limited slip differential. It will maintain its off-road capabilities which has earned it the nickname 'Mercedes-Benz G Class of Masses'. It is also important to note that the fourth generation will be produced initially in Gujart, India.Regarding the mechanical part, the supply will vary depending on the market. In Europe it will be offered with a dual-liter aspirated Dualjet petrol engine and a 1.0-liter Boosterjet three-cylinder engine. It is also being considered to introduce the 1.4-liter Boosterjet engine in the line. Compared to the current model, it will offer greater efficiency.The equipment will be increased and improved. The Suzuki Jimny 2019 will feature multiple airbags (front and side), ABS, braking assistance, a 7.0-inch touch-screen for the infotainment system, a new dashboard and even Bluetooth capability, heated front seats and upholstery in leather, plus browser.
