However, what is strange is the trade name that will be on the back cover of that model. According to rumors, the street version of the CX430 (internal name of this electric SUV) will be nothing less than Mach 1.
For those who do not mean anything, this is a mythical product of Ford in the past: the first generation of the Mustang. At that time, this name differentiated the sports versions of the first generation of the most famous pony car in the world. However, using that name on an all-terrain does not seem, in principle, the right thing to do, unless the brand designers have created a product with a brand new design.
For now, the only official thing is that Ford's electric model will be developed on a version of the 'C' platform that debuted in the last Focus. Thanks to it, you can count on a battery pack with enough capacity to rotate with a recharge up to 480 kilometers. Its arrival in the market is expected to happen in the beginning of the year 2020 and according to the plans of the brand, will be a designed model with a global character.
