NEW CHERY TIGGO 8 STARS IN CHINA

The main novelty that the Chinese manufacturer took to the Salon of Beijing 2018 was the new Chery Tiggo 8, the crossover that will be situated at the top of its catalog. It is a seven-seater crossover that takes as its starting point the Exeed TX prototype, which Chery presented last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.The new Chery Tiggo 8 is an all-terrain of 4.7 meters long, 1.86 meters wide and 1.74 meters high, which was developed on the platform T1X of the Chinese manufacturer.Regarding its exterior design, it shows some traces that were present in Exeed TX. A large front grille turns into one of its major identity passwords, in addition to its LED daytime running lights integrated into the bumper air intakes.












If we take a look inside the new Chery Tiggo 8, there are many similarities to the other models of the brand, with a simple design panel, which integrates in the center console the touch screen 7.0-inch infotainment system, which has compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems, application access, Bluetooth, USB and integrated navigation for the most equipped versions.

The equipment can also include configurable digital instrumentation, automatic two-zone climate control, keyless access, button-down, electric handbrake, four-way power windows, multifunction steering wheel, leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel and grip, sunroof panoramic lights, antinebline lights, alloy wheels, etc.

For the Chinese market, the engine offer initially includes a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.5-liter petrol engine that develops 150 horsepower, emerging coupled with a six-speed manual or automatic dual-clutch transmission.
