XCMG REVEALS 700 TONS HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR

XCMG's first 700 ton hydraulic excavator, the world's largest construction machinery manufacturer, has implemented the company's advanced assembly line in Xuzhou, China, announcing a new era for Chinese heavy equipment manufacturing. The successful production and development of the new XE7000E makes China the fourth country in the world to have the capacity to manufacture 700-tonne excavators after Germany, Japan and the USA.The 700-ton hydraulic excavator is driven by two 1,700 horsepower engines that can generate a force greater than two Typo 99 tanks. Its weight equals 500 sedans and is 23.5 meters (77 feet) in length. The XE7000E can achieve a maximum propelling force of 243 tons and an excavation force of up to 230 tons, and its bucket can dig up to 50 tons of coal on each withdrawal. It can carry and transport 30,000 tons of coal in eight hours, a high level of efficiency that represents a major advance for China's mining industry.
