NEW VERSION OF THE AXOR 8X4 2019 TRUCK
Following the motto 'The roads speak. Mercedes-Benz hears', the brand has just released an 8x4 version of the extra-heavy truck Axor 3344 (off-road platform), which was developed to meet a demand from Breda Logística for more cargo capacity in the severe application of eucalyptus transport from field to industry.The Mercedes-Benz solution was created in partnership with Suspensys / Randon, with the participation of Breda Logística itself. Mercedes-Benz meets specific customer demandsThe development of the extra-heavy Axor 3344 8x4 off-road platform for wood transport was coordinated by the Customization Center for Customers (CTT), an area created by Mercedes-Benz to meet the special requests of transport companies.Through the operation of CTT, Mercedes-Benz gains flexibility to offer products increasingly dedicated to every need of transport companies. With customization, the Company provides vehicles that are fully suited to the most diverse applications, meeting the particular needs of each customer.
The 8x4 version of the Axor 3344 is also the result of partnership work. In this case, Mercedes-Benz produces the 8x4 kit and Suspensys / Randon performs the implementation. This includes the 2nd directional front axle, the 4-blade suspension and the steering system.
