The city of Imola, Italy, will hold an event called "Ayrton Day" on May 1, in honor of Brazilian pilot Ayrton Senna. The celebration will take place at the Autodromo "Enzo and Dino Ferrari", exactly 24 years after the death of Senna, who died after an accident at the San Marino Grand Prix on the same track.Throughout the day, visitors will be able to freely access the racetrack to go through the 5-kilometer circuit and visit the memorial dedicated to the Brazilian, as well as knowing the boxes and the podium.The event will also feature characters from Formula 1 who were present in the fateful race, such as Giancarlo Minardi, former director of the Minardi team (current Toro Rosso), and former pilot Pierluigi Martini.Also taking part will be the authors of the book "Nel regno di Ayrton - La F1 ai tempi di Senna", Giuseppe Annese, Giovanni Talli and Marco Serena.
