GM PRESENTS THE RENEWED SPARK 2019
Today was a day of presentations for Chevrolet. Along with the renewed Malibu 2019 and Cruze 2019, the American brand revealed online the first image and information of the new Spark 2019, a major update of the model that brings its design closer to the rest of the models of the domestic catalog of the brand.The only image revealed reveals a Spark with a well modified front that adopts the same traits of the other models of the line, with a very thin upper grid of trapezoidal forms and a smaller one of greater size, with the same forms of the last launches of Chevrolet .The optics are also new, at least the front ones, since they are the only ones that appear. They have an internal distribution similar to the other models of the brand, and the chrome also have the same structure. In the lower part the LED daytime running lights appear, which are available according to the versions.The rear has not yet released images, but the brand ensures that the lanterns have double elements, but do not point out if they have news of the previous model.The Spark 2019 line will consist of three versions, the LS, LT and 2LT finishes, as well as the Spark Activ version with high suspension and crossover appearance. Neither were released images for the time being. All versions will feature standard air conditioning, 10 airbags and rear view camera, which will allow users to maneuver simpler parking. Depending on the version, there will be several driving assistance systems.The only engine available for the Spark 2019 line in the United States will continue to be the 1.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine, which is exclusively associated with all types of automatic variable-displacement transmission on all versions. Chevrolet has not revealed for now when the revamped 2019 Spark will hit the market, but it is expected that as the upgraded Malibu and Cruze arrive in the second half to the American dealers of the brand.
