Subaru will use face recognition to detect driver fatigue
Subaru took its new Forester model to the International Auto Show in New York. The vehicle is equipped with EyeSight, a driver assistance technology. The system includes a safety device based on facial recognition, which detects any signs of fatigue or any distractions from the driver while driving.EyeSight is included in a platform dubbed DriverFocus, which can recognize up to five driver profiles and record your personal settings, such as seat adjustment, preferred air conditioning and even infotainment options.





DriverFocus comes only from the most expensive Forester version.EyeSight is the standard vehicle assistance system and comes equipped with all versions of the model, providing other safety features such as automatic pre-collision brakes, adaptive cruise control system, track assistant and detour warning.
