Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI 190 hp
Superb is Skoda's top bet. Launched for the first time in 2001, since 2015 it is in its third generation. A model that always delivers pleasure, whether we are drivers or passengers, according to the level in which it stands. For all those who are looking for something more, the Sportline version brings together the necessary ingredients, giving it sporting touches, in aesthetics and performance, without losing its essence. Having under the bonnet a 2.0 TDI engine with 190 hp associated with a DSG automatic box, we pressed the Start & Stop and went to discover it ...



Outdoor

Endowing a top-of-the-line sporty vehicle without genetically being it is always a challenge. At bottom, try a more radical look in a model of 'airs' more sober. In the case of the Skoda Superb, the Sportline version gives you details that are first strange, then entered. At first they appear to be in disarray, but then we see the meaning. We feel like an 'executive' walking towards the company that leads with a 'plus' difference ...The interior is the already known, very spacious, both front and rear. The materials dispense presentations, breathing quality. Then there are several details that simplify the use: support for bottles in the door linings; two umbrellas; easy opening cup holders; Tablet support in the rear seats.The large luggage compartment, with its 625 liters extending to 1760 liters (with the seats folded in the 40:20:40 ratio), has several load-securing elements that facilitate the transport process.The touch screen is very intuitive and allows us to access the features of the vehicle, as well as navigation, radio, contacts, also allowing us to switch with the mobile phone. We have, as standard, the possibility of TV tuning, phone box, audiostreaming by bluetooth and Canton sound system. Despite the price, there is always to take into account the navigation system Infotainment "COLUMBUS" with maps Europa integrated, Apple connect. and voice command, for € 1345.

At the wheel

Distinctive note of the Sportline version, it is the sporty chassis, lowered by 15 mm compared to the normal version, giving us a model more 'clinging' to the asphalt, something that transpires in driving.At the wheel, he transmits us a very clairvoyant perception of the road, sticking well to it. It allows us to travel quickly, with a very permissive and safe curve approach, never scaring but with a wide range of use. We can look at more sinuous trajectories enjoying a dynamic behavior of real pleasure, situations in which the exchange of relations through the steering wheel tabs, associated with the selection of the various parameters in the Sport mode, allows us to increase the pulse rate. Of course we speak here of a 'sport line' registration, when Superb, despite the distinction of the version, maintains its genetic characteristics, inviting to relax in trips at more moderate rates.
