NEW GENERATION OF FOCUS WITHOUT CAMOUFLAGE
With ten years on the market the current Ford Focus is preparing to receive its new generation and the replacement is already ready to hit the market. Despite the mysteries that surround this new generation of Focus, the model was caught without camouflage while it was submitted to a photo shoot in Portugal.Aesthetically, it is noted that the fourth-generation Ford Focus retains its characteristic profile, although it adds new details such as its sharper design headlights and new taillights. The photographed car looks like a sporty finish, as it features a blue-painted bodywork, rear aerofoil and diffuser, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels and an attractive glass roof.The new Ford Focus 2018 is expected to have larger passenger capacity thanks to its larger dimensions and a larger trunk.In addition, it will utilize Ford's latest technologies in driving assistance and connectivity, with the latest evolution of the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system, which includes compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The engine offering will include the 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter EcoBoost, in addition to the 1.5-liter TDCi.The new generation of the Ford Focus will not be presented at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show which will be celebrated in early March, as the American manufacturer has booked a special event for the month of April for its debut. Following the five-door version, one will arrive with a car body, which is likely to debut in the second half of 2018.Meanwhile, the current Ford Focus RS, the most powerful version of the current generation, will cease production on April 6 and bid farewell to a special limited edition of only 50 units.
