HILUX INVINCIBLE 50 'CHROME EDITION'
The new Toyota Hilux Invincible 50 'Chrome Edition' arrives following in the footsteps of the Toyota Hilux Invincible 50 unveiled by the brand in September last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Like the latter, the newly introduced model was created to celebrate the half-century of Toyota's popular pick-up. It is a vehicle that was introduced in Japan in 1968 and has already sold millions of copies worldwide. In fact, Toyota has already marketed more than 18 million units. A success that is due to its legendary reliability. But it should also be noted that Hilux is sold in 180 countries around the world. It was on March 21, 1968 that the first generation arrived. Now, with two months to go by five decades, the Japanese brand introduces the Hilux Invincible 50 'Chrome Edition' to the European market.
This special Toyota Hilux series reveals the dual character of the model. Because according to Toyota, vehicles suitable for both leisure and work are increasingly popular. And few vehicles are more versatile in that sense than the Hilux. Because it has a cabin that has little or nothing to an SUV when it comes to comfort and technology. And this combined with an extraordinary load capacity.
The Hilux Invincible 50 'Chrome Edition' features a number of additional elements that enhance your already eye-catching look. Chromados are the protagonists, since they are present from the decorative bars of the bucket to the stirrups. The wheels, with a two tone and 18 inch diameter finish, are also specific. There is no shortage of identification logos, which in this case show the legend 'Invincible 50' and are located in the front doors. The bucket was covered with a plastic protector and a handy trunk with a lock was installed. Underneath the hood hides the same engine 2.4 D-4D 150 hp and 400 Nm that can be found in any other European Hilux.
