CLASS CAMPER CONCEPT TO BE SHOWN AT CMT SHOW 2018 AT STUTTGART
In order to show the different capabilities and versatility of the new Mercedes-Benz X Class, the German brand will officially unveil the Caravan, Motor, Touristik (CMT) Show 2018, which will be celebrated in the city of Stuttgart between 13th and January 21, his Mercedes-Benz X Class Camper Concept. There will be two prototypes that will be presented, each with a different particularity. The first of the versions is a removable cabin created by Tischer, which offers a free height of almost two meters, a rest area in a room of 150 cm wide, a gas stove with three mouths and seats for three occupants, which easily becomes a second bed. It also integrates a bathroom with a folding sink and a toilet that can rotate on the base.

The second of the X Class Camper Concept was developed by VanEssa. It features a high-strength removable module that weighs in at 250 pounds with a fully equipped kitchen, which is made up of a portable refrigerator, cooking and washing facilities, as well as space for crockery and different pantry utensils. A second removable module offers more space, while the entire cargo pick-up bucket is protected by a teak wood cover, the same as that used in luxury craft.

The overall trailer market is booming in Germany, so much so that the German Association of Trailers Industry announced that 38,000 new vehicles were registered between January and October 2017, almost 5,000 more than in the same period last year. Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz believes that interest in pick-ups can make its new X Class meet customers' needs, as they generally take their vehicles to the more remote regions, and the off-road capabilities of pick-up will help make this possible.
