RAM 1500 LARAMIE LONGHORN EDITION
During the recent Detroit Motor Show 2018 debuted the new generation of the RAM 1500. The renowned American pick-up is renewed and takes a technological leap forward, both in connectivity options and systems oriented to safety and passenger comfort. Now, just a few days after its introduction, the RAM model gets its first special edition.This is the new RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition, which comes to offer an option to buyers who want a more luxurious, exclusive and stylish pick-up. In part, it leaves behind the rough and strong essence of the RAM 1500. For this, the American brand used noble materials and more careful finishes to create a more comfortable and comfortable interior.Mike Manley, Director of RAM, said the following: "The RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition is a pick-up that fulfills the desires of the most demanding buyers: endurance, durability, technology and efficiency. All this seasoned with more luxurious finishes ".

The exterior of the RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition features a specific grille as well as unique wheels. In addition, it offers standard LED headlights and taillights. On the other hand, the 'RV Match Walnut Brown' exterior paint is optionally available with a two-color finish body. In principle may seem little noticeable novelties, however, what really matters is inside.

In relation to the passenger compartment, a more elegant atmosphere appears. The leather upholstery is present in the door panels, center console, instrument panel and arms rests. The name 'Longhorn' appears in some places in the interior like the glove compartment and the seats. To this we must add some chrome details and wood inserts. The RAM also indicates that the customer can choose different color combinations for the interior. In the images below we can see a good example of this.

For now, the price of this special edition of the new RAM 1500 that will be on sale in the first quarter of 2018 is unknown. The brand also did not give details about the mechanical part, so it can probably be configured with either of the two motors available on the line. The 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar 309-hp engine and the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 400 hp.
