THE FIRST IMAGES OF THE NEW SANTA FE 2019
Hyundai continues to anticipate the expected new generation of one of its most interesting SUVs. The new Hyundai Santa Fe will debut in a few weeks in its home country, South Korea. However, and before its launch, the Korean brand reveals an interesting anticipation. This time with illustrations.Just a few days ago Hyundai announced the first official teaser of the new Santa Fe, a brief teaser showing the side profile it will have. Now with these new images, we can get a clearer idea of ​​the design and shapes that will be adopted by the new generation of the Korean model. Remembering that so far, all the prototype photos of the new Hyundai Santa Fe that have appeared, showed densely camouflaged test units.Aesthetically the new Santa Fe will present important changes, since it will adopt the new design language of Hyundai. It will keep a close visual relationship with the latest releases from the Korean company. Just take a look at the new Hyundai i30 and the Hyundai Kona, among others. It will have a more athletic appearance thanks to the more defined lines and its new look will transmit some technological and sporting air. The huge air intakes and the prominent front grille will be another of its most characteristic features.



Technically the changes will also be highlighted, as the new generation of Hyundai Santa Fe will change platform. This architecture is also used by KIA in some of its models and thanks to this new platform, the Santa Fe 2019 will have a more spacious interior, being offered in two body versions, a standard of five seats and another of eight seats. The name Hyundai Grand Santa Fe will be lost with the generation change.
Regarding the mechanical supply, the line will be composed in Europe by a selection of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with up to 200 hp. It will be possible to opt for manual or automatic transmissions, as well as total traction. In addition, later the line will be completed with the arrival of a hybrid version plug-in, whose launch is scheduled for next year.
The first public presentation of the new Hyundai Santa Fe will happen next February at an event that Hyundai itself will organize in South Korea. Then the brand chose the 2018 Geneva Motor Show as the international showcase for its debut. A few months later it will go on sale.
