This Fiat 500 stuffed with gold and champagne
Forget the "cuddly" air of the Fiat 500, as this Cinquone is an infernal machine. Designed by Italian trainer Romeo Ferraris, which in addition to competition cars is dedicated to the most exuberant tunning, Cinquone Qatar is based on the Abarth 500, with which Ferraris competes in the competitions of the Italian Touring Car Championship. The engine is a 1.4 Turbo "pulled" up to 248 hp, which allows it to surpass 240 km / h and surpass the first 100 km / h in just 5.5 seconds.
The competition DNA of the Qatari version of the Cinquone does not stop at the engine. Also the brakes are the same as those used in racing, impressive four-piston Brembo discs and jaws, such as the exhaust and even the reinforced interior with a full roll bar, with only benches at the front, and a naked rear, where a pair of Sparco helmets, already with intercoms.
Perhaps most importantly (visually) of the attributes inherited from the competition is the body kit, which generously enlarges the mudguards, with the bumpers to accompany the transformation, all to accommodate considerably wider tracks and tires.However, do not be fooled by the heritage of the races that Qatar displays, as it also includes many arguments that would not stand out in a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce. Starting with the flutes of champagne, placed next to the selector of the gearbox, but continuing with all the small gold foil notes that decorate the cabin, included flûtes, and by the careful coating on the skin, where neither the protective roll bar escapes to the noble material.
