VISION GRAN TURISMO REVEALS A SMALL NSX WITH 400 HP
Unlike other Vision GT models that are available in the Gran Turismo Sport video game, Honda opted to move away from radical and extreme prototype proposals that look like the 24 Hours of Le Mans to be played in the year 2040. Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo offers a very rational proposal taking into account that it is a concept car.In visual terms it seems quite familiar and this due to the great influence that had of the new Honda NSX in its design. It could go perfectly for a concept that added a new supersport Honda that would rank one step below the NSX. However, it can only be conducted in the virtual world offered by the PlayStation 4.
The Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo was designed in California (USA) and its development took place on the premises of the Polyphony Digital studio in Japan. In the video below we can see that Honda has created a full scale model to test it in the wind tunnel and prove first-hand the aerodynamic performance it would have.
Built on carbon fiber, the Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo weighs only 899 kilos, which would allow it to be located (if it materializes in a real vehicle) almost next to the Honda S660. It would weigh less than half the Honda NSX and would also be lighter than the Honda S2000 to compare both models.Underneath its body is a 2.0-liter DOHC V-TEC Turbo four-cylinder engine that develops a power of 400 hp and is coupled to an automatic transmission of double clutch and eight speeds.autonews
