Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept
Mitsubishi revealed details about the e-Evolution Concept to be presented at the Tokyo Motor Show (October 28 to November 5). According to the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi e-Evolution will be no more than a prototype, but its technology will be applied in production vehicles that will be launched around 2020.The Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept is equipped with three electric motors, all-wheel drive and artificial intelligence that make driving easier and safer.

An electric motor provides traction to the front axle and a twin engine drive the rear axle. The Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept's electric propulsion system delivers high torque and good performance capability, providing excellent off-road flexibility on all conditions and surfaces. The rear axle is equipped with Mitsubishi's electronic vectoring torque control, "Active Yaw Control" (AYC).The artificial intelligence system analyzes the road through a variety of sensors and imperceptibly coordinates the intentions of the driver with the autonomous driving capabilities of the vehicle. A key aspect of the system involves recognizing and learning the driver's habits and assessing his or her ability to make the necessary adjustments. The onboard computer acts as an instructor providing advice to whoever is driving. Various functions can be activated via voice commands such as climate control, windscreen wipers and headlights. Overall, Mitsubishi's artificial intelligence system makes driving safer and less stressful.
