TOYOTA

THE MOST RETRO LINE 4x4 IS WITH YOUR COUNTED DAYS
Although it had long since disappeared from most markets where it was available, the strange and flashy FJ Cruiser was still on sale in its home market, Japan. From there it will also be extinguished soon, as the brand has announced a special edition of farewell to the huge all-terrain.The FJ Cruiser was born 12 years ago in 2005 as a kind of retro-cool design rival to the now-defunct Hummer line from General Motors. Taking the design of the classic Land Cruiser FJ40, much appreciated in numerous markets, the FJ Cruiser featured an extravagant design on a huge and tall body mounted to the robust chassis of the Land Cruiser. Its design began in the mid-1990s, when Toyota's American division, in cooperation with Akio Toyoda himself, began to develop an original FJ40 successor, but with high off-road capabilities. The exterior design was handled by Toyota's Calty Studio in California, and before its arrival, several concepts were presented, such as the 2001 Rugged Sport Coupe Concept, created before the final final design was approved.
