RENAULT 5 TURBO 1 ENZO FERRARI IS FOR SALE
Many times we show here interesting cars that are for sale or that will be auctioned, models of all types and origin. This time it's the Renault 5 Turbo 1 made in 1982 and owned by Enzo Ferrari, which is on sale at specialist Tom Hartley Jnr, a luxury vehicle store located in the United Kingdom.Although it may be hard to believe, but Enzo Ferrari did not drive only cars of his own company, he also drove several models of different brands and times. Among them we find several examples of Alfa Romeo, a brand that launched in the world of racing, and this spectacular Renault 5 Turbo 1 that Ferrari acquired new in the year 1982, after being enchanted by the small supercharged model. This 1982 copy receives an exterior finish in red 'Grenade' with a red leather interior with blue flooring. As a particularity, Enzo Ferrari requested that an original Pioneer Ferrari radio be mounted on the car.

Centrally located, a four-cylinder, supercharged 1.4-liter engine with a power output of 160 hp is combined with a five-speed manual transmission. With this mechanical configuration the French model is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 218 km / h.The Renault 5 Turbo, which gained the nickname of 'fat butt' because of its widened rear wheel arches by 60 centimeters compared to the standard model, drove a total of 27,300 kilometers since February 1982 when it was acquired by Ferrari. In the 2000s, the car was sent to Renault Sport for a complete update. The price was not disclosed in the sale announcement, but if we take into account that a model of similar characteristics is sold in Europe for at least 80,000 euros, this particular car will not be exactly cheap.
