FORD F-150 JÁ CONTA COM UMA VERSÃO HÍBRIDA PLUG-IN, MAS NÃO É ORIGINAL Imagens e fotos de carroF-150 ALREADY CONTAINS A HYBRID VERSION
Ford has confirmed the development of a plug-in hybrid version of the F-150 just a year ago. This new version of the pick-up is part of a family of new electrified models that will arrive at the beginning of the next decade and where there will be even a PHEV version of the Mustang. However, current F-150 customers will not have to wait for an F-150 PHEV, as XL Hybrids, a company specializing in hybrid fleet transformations, announced its first conversion to the Ford F-150.

This is not the first product of XL Hybrids for a pick-up, which curiously already has in its catalog with similar conversions for other Ford models, such as the line of Heavy Duty pick-ups, as well as several models of Chevrolet and GMC . However, while the F-150 was the best-selling model in its market, it still did not count such a conversion for the popular pick-up.It is available in kit form (not mounted by the company) and its installation is not only very simple, it does not interfere with the manufacturer's official guarantee. In addition, XL Hybrids offers 3 years or 75,000 miles of warranty for your system. This new kit is available for any body version of the Ford F-150, regardless of cabin type or rear bucket size, but can only be installed in versions equipped with the 2.7-liter Ecoboost and 3.3-liter petrol engines. In both cases the system is identical. It is equipped with an electric motor that is coupled to the drive shaft, so it can be installed in 4x4 or 4x2 versions, as well as 15 kWh batteries and a regenerative energy system in braking. The company has not revealed for now the increased power and capacity of the batteries to move the vehicle in pure electric mode, but confirmed that the fuel economy is 50% compared to the original mechanical versions.
