THIS IS THE NEW GENERATION OF VW GOLF
Almost six years after its arrival in the market, Vokswagen Golf is ready to welcome its new generation. The German brand is finishing the last details of the development of the new VW Golf VIII, a model that will hit the market in 2019.The new Golf has been developed on the same modular platform MQB of its predecessor, although it is expected that it will lose some weight and that is slightly larger than the current model. As it has been occurring over the past generations, there will be no drastic changes in its design, quite the contrary, the model is expected to retain its main characteristic traits, such as its massive back pillar, one of the most recognizable identity passwords. However, the front will feature a redesigned design, in line with the latest models of the German brand. In addition, it will have improved aerodynamics, which together with the new and more efficient engines, will allow the new Golf 2019 to improve fuel consumption and lower emissions levels. Thanks to the benefits of its modular architecture, the new Golf will feature the latest technologies from the Volkswagen Group in terms of driving aids and connectivity, including adaptive cruise control, head-up display system, latest infotainment systems and , of course, the configurable digital command frame.Regarding its mechanics, the new Volkswagen Golf VIII will use a line of engines that will include TDI diesel versions and TSI Evo gasoline, as well as hybrid and micro-hybrid versions based on a 48 volt system that recovers the energy from braking and slowdown.
With its arrival in the market foreseen for 2019, certainly over the next few months we will be able to get to know you in the conceptual format.
