CHEVROLET

NEW CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2019 APPEARS IN EVENT

The American brand celebrated the centenary of its first pick-up at an event in Dallas, when at the height of the show appeared a huge helicopter with the emblems of Chevrolet pulling a small platform on which held a pick-up, and ended up being the first exemplar of the new generation of the Chevrolet Silverado, the new 2019 model. As we can see in the video below and in the official images, the entrance of the model was spectacular, but the aspect offered by the installations did not seem to be that of a presentation as important as the one that really happened. For now, Chevrolet only showed the images of the exterior of the model and were not revealed details related to its technical novelties or with its line, not even were divulged images of the interior. To know all your data and to discover its interior it will be necessary to wait a few more days the opening of the Salon of Detroit 2018, that will begin the next day 14 of January.

Curiously, the unit that the brand presented in Dallas corresponds to one of the new versions of the 2019 line, the new Silverado LT Trailboss. This is a new off-road version that will feature the Z71 package (optional for some versions) which includes, among other elements, a suspension scheme more adapted to the field and a set of wheels and off-road tires.Among the expected new features, will have a new platform, with a lighter chassis and body, using high strength steels and aluminum in some areas. In fact, there are rumors that indicate that there will also be carbon fiber in some parts. In the same way, both the mechanical part and the equipment will be much more exquisite and advanced than those of its predecessor, as well as incorporating the latest advances of the company in terms of connectivity and infotainment systems. Also will have new finishes of more prominence in the interior.
